Mullabrack Accordion Band Parade - 28th May 2021

It’s hard to believe that it has been 10 years from the bus attended the first parade which was Newtownstewart Red Hand Defenders on the first Friday night in May, the bus was dedicated on the 6th March 2012.
Unfortunately there was no parade in Newtownstewart this year due to the pandemic.

But great news band parades are back on again.
We attended the first in Markethill on 28th May which was Mullabrack Accordion.
It was a small but good parade.
The bands in attendance were Mullabrack, Markethill Protestant Boys, Kilcluney Volunteers Flute band
and John Hunter Accordion. There was a family atmosphere with everyone doing their best to social distance.

The bus is off the road but thanks to awards for all and others we are getting a new vehicle.
So the committee have made the decision that there is no point spending money on the old one
and the fact that due to social distancing we would get few people on the bus,
so instead  we have decide to use a gazebo instead.
The gazebo will make its first appearance on Friday at Kilcluney Volunteers Parade in Markethill.
