Valerie Thom visits the Mothers Union in:
1. Tamlaght and Ballinderry
2. Brackaville, Coalisland.

Tamlaght & Ballinderry

I had the pleasure of speaking at Tamlaght and Ballinderry Mothers Unions in Ballinderry Parish hall. I received a warm welcome from Mrs Heather Payne, I then spoke about the work of the Zacchaeus Project and answer questions about the project. The evening finished with supper and prayer. People are surprised when I say how good the band community is to the project.

Brackaville

Only a couple of miles from where I live is Brackaville Parish where I was delighted to be asked to speak at their Mothers Union. I was welcome by Phylis Crooks. A a bible reading and prayers followed, which is the norm for all Mothers Union meetings. Again I then spoke about the Zacchaeus Outreach Project and the work with the South American Mission Society in Brazil and how the bands have helped with that. Again there were loads of questions and a power point presentation. The evening ended with supper and prayer.
