Montober Parade 23rd August 2017

Wednesday 23rd August saw the bus in Cookstown at Montober Parade where they celebrated their 100th year.

A big thank you to the guys from Hutchinsons Butchers, to Tony for parking the bus for me, and to Chris for his help. The night started off not to bad, but then there was a massive downpour but thankfully it didn't last long. There were 42 bands at the parade. You just never know what is going to happen. Tonight I had help from Lorna McAllister, a big thank you to her.

It was good catching up with people we had not seen for a while. We hope Luke who stayed on the bus because he became ill during the parade is feeling better soon. It was lovely to have a visit from Richard and Michelle. Richard gives up so much of his free time to video band parades.

Sorry we have no photos for tonight as Valerie forgot to put the memory card in her camera.
