It was with great pleasure that Valerie
dedicated the new uniforms for Ballymacall True Blues Flute Band
following a concert in Castlecaulfield.
People were entertained by Tullylagan Pipe band, Sons of William Cookstown
Bawn Silver Band and Clonaneese Presbyterian youth Choir and compare for the
evening was Mervyn Walker.
There was a beautiful supper served and the evening was finished with the dedication of the
band's new uniforms and drums.
Valerie was given a chance to talk about the work of the Zacchaeus Outreach project.
Ballymacall True Blues were formed in 1948 to accompany their local lodge.
They accompany lodges on the 12th July, the last Saturday of August and also on the relief of
Derry parade. They travel to South Lanarkshire Scotland for their annual 12th July Celebrations.
This is the 70th Anniversary year of the band and this is their 7th uniform.
Once again thanks to Ballymacall for the lovely evening.
